AI Engineering Intern (LLM Agents & Tool Use)
Build hands-on autonomous LLM agents, dynamic prompt tooling, and production RAG pipelines under the mentorship of senior AI architects.
Role Overview & Operational Scope
This is an intensive, practical internship where you will write code that runs in production. Under 1-on-1 mentorship, you will build autonomous agents that solve real enterprise tasks.
Key Responsibilities & Production Deliverables
- Develop Python and Node.js microservices that interface with Gemini and Claude APIs.
- Implement structured tool-calling schemas and JSON-mode workflows.
- Build document ingestion and chunking pipelines for vector database indexing.
- Conduct benchmark evaluations to measure hallucination rates and accuracy.
Mandatory Foundational Knowledge
- Strong Python or modern JavaScript programming fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON data structures, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
Mandatory Practical Skills & Architecture
- Hands-on experience making API requests to OpenAI, Gemini, or open-source LLMs.
- Ability to write clean, well-commented code that handles error cases gracefully.

- Genuine excitement about modern artificial intelligence and generative models.
- Readiness to learn fast, accept code review feedback, and build real-world software.

Compensation, Total Rewards & Advancement
